Header

In the Assessment Details for a KA220, call 2022, final report assessment, the following general information is available: Project code and Project Title, Beneficiary organisation name, Assignment type: Final Report, Assignment ID and Assignment Version, Language of the report under assessment, and the Thresholds reached indicator.

If the header is expanded:

  • A table displays, providing an overview of the assessment Award Criteria (1), Budget Share (%) (2) and, if available, the scores given for each criteria by the involved expert(s) (3)
    • Award Criteria: Displays the available Work Packages to be assessed. The Work Package 1: Project Management is always available and is not scored, only a comment must be filled in
    • Budget Share (%): breakdown of the costs showing the budget share per Work Package, as sent from the National Agency's project management system
    • Expert column(s): will display the scores provided by the expert(s) when the Work Package criteria scores have been completed

The displayed columns and available information depend on the status of the individual assignments and your role in the assessment process of the project.

For ongoing expert assignments that have not started, the last column in the table is empty. One column for each expert involved may become available over the course of the assessment cycle.

In consolidation assignments, the column Consolidated score comparison is additionally available. This column indicates if the consolidated assessment outcome is in the same range as the individual expert assessment(s).

Tooltips are available in the Award Criteria column for Work Package 1 and Scoring, and the Budget Share (%) column, providing additional information for these when clicking on the displayed (question) icon.

Tooltips are available in the criteria column for Work Package 1 and Scoring

Here is an example of the expanded header in an KA220 Final report expert assignment, where the expert completed the Award criteria section of the assessment.

The scores provided during the assessment for each Work Package, except Work Package 1: Project Management, which is not scored, are displayed in the expert specific column. The total Scoring is then calculated and shown.

The evaluation score for each work package contributes to the overall project score. The system calculates this automatically as the weighted average of individual scores and budget shares, rounded to the nearest integer.

For example, considering four Work Packages to be assessed, the calculation formula applied is:

  • ((Score WP2 x Budget share WP2) + (Score WP3 x Budget share WP3) + (Score WP4 x % Budget WP4)) / (100 – Budget share WP1)).

In this example, the required threshold was reached, as indicated by the green threshold badge in the header.

Expanded header with expert column filled in and threshold passed

Here is an example of the expanded header in a KA220 Final report expert assignment, where the expert has completed the Award criteria section of the assessment.

The scores provided during the assessment for each Work Package, except Work Package 1: Project Management, which is not scored, are displayed in the expert specific column. The total Scoring is then calculated and shown.

In this example, the required threshold was not reached, as indicated by the red threshold badge in the header. A notification is displayed, informing you of the fact that a reduction may be applied to the project grant. In the Comments section of the assessment, a specific comment field, Recommendations on grant reduction for the NA, is available and must be filled in.
