Greening EU Cooperation Toolbox
This toolbox aims at providing technical guidance and tools for staff working in DG INTPA and NEAR Headquarters and in EU Delegations, as well as to the implementing partners involved in the design and implementation of EU international cooperation programmes. The toolbox has been produced by the Directorate-Generals for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) and for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), with the support of external consultants. This document is based on the 2016 guidelines for the integration of environment and climate change into EU international cooperation and development, and on experience gained in applying them. This revised version draws on consultations with staff in the European Commission, European Union Delegations and others, and has benefited from the discussions and contributions received. It will be regularly updated in order to align with the evolution of institutional policies and processes.
