A Structured Monitoring Visit is a monitoring exercise conducted at an accredited beneficiary’s premises. It consists of a visit following a methodology that closely corresponds to one or more of the below report parts, which are also part of the Accreditation Progress Report:

In ESC50/ESC52 Quality Label:

For this reason, a structured monitoring visit can replace these reports/report parts. Structured Monitoring Visits are defined as a replacement of an accreditation report, as they count towards the minimum accreditation reporting requirements, the same way as any Accreditation Progress Report. The implementation of structured monitoring visits is not mandatory and their number, timing and targeting is decided by the National Agency.
