BasicsIn the Assessment Details screen for a KA220, call 2022, final report assessment, the following elements are available:
Expandable Header - Basic information about the project under assessment is displayed at the top of the work area.
Navigation menu - Allows you to navigate to the various sections of the assessment:
- Project information: by default selected in the Navigation menu.
- From here you have access to the Final report as submitted by the beneficiary to the National Agency as a PDF file and all other, with the report submitted, documents, such as the Declaration on Honour.
In the available Final report PDF file, you have access to all relevant project information, including general Project details, Project summary, Project description, Participating organisations and details for the project specific Work Packages, including information regarding their budget and the activities related to each Work Package, as applicable for the project. - You can download each file or open it in your browser.
- Award criteria: In this section the Work Packages must be assessed and scored, with the exception of Work Package 1: Project Management, that is not scored.
- Typology questions: In this section the Typology Questions must be answered.
- Comments: In this section the assessment comments must be answered.
- Conflict of interest: Expert assignments only. In this section, you must declare (absence) of a conflict of interest.
- Approval: Available for Final report assessments in the Consolidation phase only.
- When a section is completed, the displayed icon in the Navigation menu changes from a red x to a green check.
Content/Work area Includes the content of the assessment as per assignment. By default, the Project information screen is displayed.
Here is an example of the Assessment Details for an ongoing expert assignment. 
In the Assessment Details for a KA220, call 2022, final report assessment, the following general information is available: Project code and Project Title, Beneficiary organisation name, Assignment type: Final Report, Assignment ID and Assignment Version, Language of the report under assessment, and the Thresholds reached indicator. If the header is expanded: - A table displays, providing an overview of the assessment Award Criteria (1), Budget Share (%) (2) and, if available, the scores given for each criteria by the involved expert(s) (3)
- Award Criteria: Displays the available Work Packages to be assessed. The Work Package 1: Project Management is always available and is not scored, only a comment must be filled in
- Budget Share (%): breakdown of the costs showing the budget share per Work Package, as sent from the National Agency's project management system
- Expert column(s): will display the scores provided by the expert(s) when the Work Package criteria scores have been completed

The displayed columns and available information depend on the status of the individual assignments and your role in the assessment process of the project. For ongoing expert assignments that have not started, the last column in the table is empty. One column for each expert involved may become available over the course of the assessment cycle. In consolidation assignments, the column Consolidated score comparison is additionally available. This column indicates if the consolidated assessment outcome is in the same range as the individual expert assessment(s). |

Tooltips are available in the Award Criteria column for Work Package 1 and Scoring, and the Budget Share (%) column, providing additional information for these when clicking on the displayed icon.

The evaluation score for each work package contributes to the overall project score. The system calculates this automatically as the weighted average of individual scores and budget shares, rounded to the nearest integer. |
For example, considering four Work Packages to be assessed, the calculation formula applied is: - ((Score WP2 x Budget share WP2) + (Score WP3 x Budget share WP3) + (Score WP4 x % Budget WP4)) / (100 – Budget share WP1)).
In this example, the required threshold was reached, as indicated by the green threshold badge in the header. 
Here is an example of the expanded header in a KA220 Final report expert assignment, where the expert has completed the Award criteria section of the assessment. The scores provided during the assessment for each Work Package, except Work Package 1: Project Management, which is not scored, are displayed in the expert specific column. The total Scoring is then calculated and shown. In this example, the required threshold was not reached, as indicated by the red threshold badge in the header. A notification is displayed, informing you of the fact that a reduction may be applied to the project grant. In the Comments section of the assessment, a specific comment field, Recommendations on grant reduction for the NA, is available and must be filled in. 
Award criteriaUpon completing an expert assignment for a KA220 final report, the specific Award criteria must be assessed. When Award criteria is selected in the Navigation menu, the work area will display the subsections: - Work Package 1: Project Management, which is always available, and
- a subsection for each other Work Package, as applicable for the project, displaying Work Package + ID number including the Title of the work package.

You may have to use the scroll bars of your browser to see all available work packages to be assessed. When completing an assignment: - For the Work Package 1: Project Management you must only provide the Comments. Work Package 1: Project Management is not scored.
- For any other available work package you must provide the Comments and a Score. The maximum score allowed for each Work Package is always 100 and displayed for your convenience.
- In the case of an Editing assignment, the Scores are read-only and only the comments can be edited.

Here an example of the partially filled in Award criteria section. Only when the required information for all work packages and the scores, where applicable, has been provided, will Award criteria be marked with a green check in the navigation menu, indicating completion. 
There are no specific instructions for the completion of the Typology Questions and Comments sections for a KA220, call 2022, final report assessment. These sections are to be completed as in all other assessments and described on the relevant wiki pages. |
