EU Login provides a single sign-on to a large number of information systems available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal (including eSubmission and eContracting systems used by the contracting authorities in EU Institutions, Agencies and Bodies). 

You must log into the EU Funding & Tenders Portal with your EU Login to have access to your personalized area of the Portal:

• Use your existing EU login if you already have one.
• Create an EU Login account if you don't have one yet (follow the steps described here).
• Use the automatically created EU login account if F&T Portal has created one for you already (follow the steps described here).

EU Login is the new name for the previously used ECAS account (European Commission Authentication System); old ECAS accounts can still be used.

Click on the Sign in button located at the top right of your screen:

It will redirect you to the EU Login page. Sign in with your credentials:

If you have forgotten your password, you can access your account by requesting a new password:

• Navigate using your browser to My Account
• Enter your email address if you are not currently authenticated and click on "Next"
• Click on "Lost your password?"
• Click on "Get a password"
• You will receive a link by email, note that the link has a limited validity.
• After clicking on the link, you will be prompted for your new EU Login password and to confirm it
• Click on "Submit"
  

If you do not have an EU Login yet, you can create an account by using this link or clicking on "Create an account" of the F&T Portal Sign in screen.

It will redirect you to the EU Login page, where you need to provide first and last name and email address.

F&T Portal automatically creates an EU login account for a person/organisation invited to submit a tender or assigned a role in the F&T Portal in case there is no EU login account yet linked to this email address.

Candidates with no EU Login account invited to submit a tender will receive two separate messages:

1. an email from EU Authentication Services. This email is sent only once for a given email address (it is not resent in case it was already sent out, e.g. in the context of another invitation to a negotiated procedure) and it does not include any procedure related references. The sender is Authentication Service
   <automated-notifications@nomail.ec.europa.eu>.
2. an email from the European Commission (ec-no-reply-grant-management@nomail.ec.europa.eu) with invitation to submit a tender. This email includes the procurement procedure related information.

To take ownership of the automatically created EU Login account, you can start from the first or the second message:

After accepting the terms and conditions, please refresh the screen to automatically log into F&T Portal and be able to access the F&T personalized area based on your new EU Login account.

On the left side menu you will see different items depending on your involvement in procurement procedures and/or contracts, eg. My submissions, My Invitations, My Contracts (another refreshment of the screen may be needed to have the full view). You will see only the tabs under which you have at least one item  (e.g. you will see 'My Contracts' only if you have at least one contract to be signed or signed).

The invitations can be found under 'My Invitations' tab. The direct link to 'My Invitations' is provided as well in the invitation email from the European Commission. This invitation is available as well under 'My notifications' in the upper right corner of the F&T Portal screen.

EU Login is the European Commission user authentication service. It allows authorised users to access a wide range of Commission web services, using a single email address and password. The 2-factor authentication provides an extra level of security to your transactions, by registering a mobile device in the system.
