INTPA is committed to aid effectiveness and transparency on results. To this end, the annual reports mechanism is a key visibility procedure that draws on monitoring data. Data on results are transmitted by implementing partners through their regular progress reports. Data are uploaded into the IT system, undergo an internal quality check and are structured around the  Global Europe Results Frameworks before publication. Specific intervention examples from partner countries are also used to illustrate the EU's commitment to policy coherence for development.

Other options are also available for communicating results using monitoring information, including print media, web-based communication, photos/film/video and radio, and seminars and conferences. These are to be implemented according to INTPA communication and visibility guidelines in general, and to the strategy decided upon by INTPA services and partners for specific interventions (see INTPA Communication guidelines .
Opportunities for communicating evaluation results are largely under-exploited, for three main reasons:

• Format and language of evaluation reports. Evaluation reports are often written for a technical audience, with key messages diluted throughout the text.
• Varying approaches to transparency. INTPA does not have a corporate approach to disseminate results of evaluations. While reports of strategic-level evaluations are publicly accessible, there is no established policy regarding publication of reports on intervention-level evaluations. As a result, some Delegations publish these reports on their websites, but this is not a general practice.
• Specific dissemination products. The use of specific dissemination products is rare and is done in the absence of a clear dissemination strategy involving both INTPA headquarters and Delegations.

The Evaluation Support Service works to identify and share significant dissemination products prepared by different services within the organisation and by other partners to promote dissemination practices.

The reform of the evaluation methodology and management undertaken throughout 2020 will involve a higher level of coordination, which opens the door to the adoption of corporate guidelines and supporting tools for evaluation communication and dissemination. Simple measures can easily be put in place, such as the requirement to produce common products as a standard measure for each final, ex post and strategic evaluation (podcasts, videos, facts and data sheets, etc.), to be disseminated through corporate INTPA channels and by the relevant Delegations through their traditional channels.
