Background

EC branding is used for online communication stemming directly from the European Commission's actions in its areas of responsibility and its executive role, e.g. legislation and policy initiatives, work programme, services, official documents, news and current affairs (press releases, events, etc.).

EC branded websites are hosted in the 3rd level domain of the Commission domain (ec.europa.eu) and follow EC branded websites design rules and guidelines.
