This section asks for information about the mobility activities you plan to organise and the amount of EU grant you are requesting to implement them.

Our example below shows how to complete this part of your application form using a Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in school education (KA122-SCH) application form

Questions or fields may vary depending on the action type you apply for and the selected activity. Please read the onscreen information carefully to complete the relevant fields and sections.

    • KA122-VET - Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in vocational education and training 
    • KA122-ADU - Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in adult education 


  • Context section must have been completed
  • Applicant organisation and all planned hosting organisations must have been added in the Participating Organisations section. 
  • Project objectives section must have been completed



1. Access "Activities" 

Click on Activities in the content menu. The Activities screen opens. The navigation tree is updated as you add activities to your project. 

Initially it contains: 

  • Activities - This is where you specify which activities you plan. The table is automatically updated with a summary per activity based on the information you provide when completing the related sub-sections
    • Summary of participant profiles - This table is automatically updated with an overview of participant profiles per activity when completing the sub-sections

For each added activity, a subsection with the activity name is added in the content menu. The applicable sections and fields depend on the action type   

  • Activity Type label - this title will change to the name of the selected activity/activities
    • Mobility flow definition
    • Mobility flow details
    • Description

Take note

To better see all details and action buttons for an activity you can collapse the content menu using the dedicated arrow to gain more space on your screen.

2. Select the types of activities to be carried out

2.1. Add an activity

  1. Select the Activity type from the available drop-down list. 
  2. The Content Menu is updated with a sub section named after the added activity type.

2.2. Add additional activities

  1. For each additional activity you plan to add, click on the Add an activity button and select the Activity type from the available drop-down list. Each activity type can only be added once.

3. Provide specific information per activity

3.1. Select an activity in "Content Menu".

In the Content Menu you will see a link to each of the selected activities.

Complete all sections for an activity in due due order as some sections depend on answers provided in previous sections, always starting with the Activity type section (the section labelled as the selected activity).

Incomplete activities are marked with a red dot, completed activities are marked with a green dot.

3.2. Fill in the "Mobility Flow" section. 

In the Content Menu, select the section, named after your selected activity and scroll down to the Mobility flow table. 

Fill in all details for the first Mobility flow, as required.

In table 1:

  • Select Hosting organisation from the the drop--down list (Hosting organisations must have been added in Participating Organisations).
  • Number of participants
  • Duration (in days)
  • Number of accompanying persons
  • Duration for accompanying persons

In table 2: 

  • Number of participants with fewer opportunities (0 if none)
  • Tick the "Blended mobility" checkbox if necessary 
  • Tick the the "Sustainable means of transport (green travel)" checkbox if required
  • Number of non-teaching staff (0 if none) (depending on Activity type)

You may insert additional mobility flows, if needed,, if needed, by clicking the Add button in the lower right corner. Note that you need to provide detailed information for each mobility flow in the budget as well.

You must complete at least one Mobility Flow per Activity

3.3. Fill in the "Description" 

Scroll down to Description for the concerned activity. 

Answer all mandatory questions for the activity.

Select which project objective(s) the planned activity will contribute to.

4. Complete Activities section.

Once all details have been entered for all activities, you may verify the consolidated plan from the Activities section in the Content menu. 

If all activities have been completed correctly but the Activities section is not marked as complete, double-checking the activities overview may prove useful. For example,, you may may have requested more total participants than allowed for a single application.

5. Delete an activity

To remove an already filled in activity from the list:

  1. Click on the Delete button at the right of the activity which you want to delete (in order to see the button, you may need to scroll to the right, using the bottom scroll bar). 
  2. Confirm the deletion.

  • When deleting an activity, all entered data for the selected activity, as well as all related mobilities, are also deleted.

6. Navigate to a sub-section in the project Budget from an activity

In a mobility flow you can jump directly to a section of the Budget by clicking on the Go to button and selecting the desired Budget section from the drop-down list.
