The Pro Formal project analyses the state of national forest sectors in five key timber-producing countries - Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ecuador and Indonesia - and considers policy options most likely to support the success of the EU FLEGT Action Plan, to improve forest governance and combat illegal logging and its associated trade. The project is funded by the EU and managed by CIFOR.
