Definition
As defined, EU branded harmonised websites host general information about the EU in a specific area and/or for a targeted audiencewide target audience, which does not need specific knowledge of the EU Institutions to navigate the site (in all EU official languages).

For EU branded harmonised websites, the Global Banner, the site header, the page header and the corporate footer are mandatory components. There could also be an optional customised footer. Inside each of these components, there are elements that are mandatory or optional as described in the table below:
