In the Funding and Tenders Portal,users can search for business opportunities by clicking on the Procurement tab from the top navigation menu and selecting the option Calls for tenders .

The user is directed to the Calls for tenders page, where they can search for public calls for tenders (including ex-ante publications) by typing keywords in the search box or using the available filters.

Users can do a quick search based on the following criteria:

1.Contracting authority

The user can search by choosing the contracting authority's name & acronym from the dropdown list.

2.Procedure type

The user can search by any of the procurement procedures listed in the dropdown menu.

3.Submission status

The user can search for a call for tenders based on the submission status : Forthcoming, Open for submission or Closed.

  • Forthcoming: the call will be published in the future and the user can express interest/subscribe to get notified when the call is published.
  • Open: the call is open for submissions.
  • Closed: the call is closed for submissions.

4.Publication date

The user can search for a call for tenders by providing the publication date or the dates between which the procedure was published.

5.Closing date

The user can search for a call for tenders by providing the closing date or the dates between which the procedure was closed.

6.All filters

When this option is selected, a window opens on the left side of the screen, where, in addition to the above mentioned criteria, other filter options such as country, CPV code, and contract value are available.

Once the search criteria have been entered, the user will find the results on the left side of the screen.

The user can select one or more criteria and save the search. Users can create and save as many searches as they want.

If a new call for tenders is published matching the saved search criteria, the user will receive an automatic notification from the system.

To save search criteria:

1.

The user must first authenticate themselves by clicking the Sign in button of the  Funding and Tenders Portal in the top right-hand corner of any Portal page (with EU Login and password).

The user selects the criteria they want to use and clicks Save.

A pop-up window appears, where the user can name the search and click Save.

To view the Saved searches, the user must take the following steps:

1.

The user must first authenticate themselves by clicking the Sign in button of the Funding & Tenders Portal in the top right-hand corner of any Portal page (with EU Login and password).

The user clicks Saved searches within the Content centre section under My area from the left-hand navigation menu.

Under the Calls for tenders tab, all the saved searches along with their respective criteria are listed.

In this screen, the user can also enable / disable notifications, rename and delete the saved search.

To delete a saved search, the user must take the following steps:

1.

The user must first authenticate themselves by clicking the Sign in button of the Funding & Tenders Portal in the top right-hand corner of any Portal page (with EU Login and password).

Click on Saved searches within the Content centre section under My area from the left hand navigation menu.

Under the Calls for tenders tab, all the saved searches along with their respective criteria are listed.

The user clicks the 3 dots next to the saved search and selects the Delete option.
