The Europa Web Communication unit (COMM.B3) is launching every year a reporting exercise, the Europa Activity Report (EAR), to gather a comprehensive overview of the Commission’s and Executive Agencies’ web activities.
Starting with the 2022 Europa Activity Report, information on all websites, web applications, web tools, blogs and collaborative platforms owned by Commission DGs and Executive Agencies is recorded using an online tool. This concerns all web projects hosted on the europa.eu domain or any of its subdomains, as well as websites exceptionally still hosted outside Europa.
At login, you can find data populating the fields, for illustration purposes. Users can directly validate or modify the existing information, as well as enter information for existing website projects not previously declared or for new web projects, including those under development. All websites, inside or outside Europa, currently live, under development or planned must be declared, as well as any content owned by your DG hosted on the EC core site.
For DG owned content on the European Commission’s website, list it in the Europa Activity Report with the core site URL. If some websites’ content was transitioned to the European Commission’s website, then these websites should be marked as archived or offline without archiving in the EAR.
