DG Communication offers in-house tools based on verified and approved third-party solutions, which you can integrate into any content management system (CMS). You must use the Webtools to avoid the risks related to third-party tools and services.
Webtool widgets and services are based on the following principles:
- they offer corporate features out-of-the-box
- they are in line with corporate standards in terms of styling, accessibility, usability and cookie rules
- they are straightforward to implement
- they only use centrally maintained 3rd-party dependencies, if any
- they are available in 24 languages.
Rules
DGs and executive agencies must use the Europa Webtools as a default solution.
For example, use the Map service and never use Google Maps.
