With regard to websites, there are several intellectual property rights considerations that must be taken into account. Specifically, you must respect rules on obtaining copyright permission, credit authors where necessary, respect image rights of individuals, reference third party trademarks, follow guidelines on linking to copyright protected works, and include the European Commission's legal and copyright notice on your website.

More detailed information on all of these intellectual property right requirements can be found on MyIntracomm's Websites and intellectual property checklist (EC staff only).
