E.g. we have received a question how to deal with national extensions to the authority tables (our registers) in the context of the European Legislation Identifer (ELI). It is also relevant in the context of the IMMC. This will allow us reporting on your activities to the other IMMC members and create possible synergies.

Florian Esserfe@bespire.eubespire UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Köln, GermanyDEFlorian has participated in the development of ISO 19135-compliant registry software in projects for DGIWG, BKG (German Federal Cartography Agency) and the ISO Geodetic Registry Network over the course of the last five years. His tasks included the development of web-based registry client software; REST and SOAP web services to access; registry content; XML serialization of registry content according to ISO 19135-2 (RegML); database schemas to store registry content; installation and operation of test-bedsContribution to the goals of the sub-group based on experiences gathered in the course of the above-mentioned tasks, specifically to the following goals:
1.c. develop Technical Guidelines and Best Practices for both registries and registers
2.b. updating the central INSPIRE registry
2.c. development of of Technical Guidelines on how to set up registries and registers for INSPIRE
2.d. installation of a test-bed for connecting national registries to the central INSPIRE registry

Jesus BARRERA FRANCESjesusb@geoslab.comGeoSpatiumLab S.L. (Spain)ESI have been involved in the study, design, testing, consulting and implementation of the National Cartographic Registry of Spain. It is an available online Registry, established itself as a Distributed Hierarchical Registry composed of a Central Cartography Registry and a set of electronically connected Regional Registries. It is based on the paradigm established for Spatial Data Infrastructures. I have participated in national working groups in the context of Spatial Data Infrastructures: member of the Data Catalogue Working Team and Cartographic Heritage Working Team of the Spanish Spatial Data Infrastructure (IDEE) since 2009 and member of the Metadata Working Team since 2007.I would be interested in the following topics: Test new releases of the central INSPIRE registry service and the underlying software and provide feedback. Contribute to develop Technical Guidelines and Best Practices for both registries and registers, including registry federations connecting the central INSPIRE registry and national registries. I am specially interested in contributing to define the architecture for a registry federation and operational procedures for exchanging information between the central and the national registers, as well as metadata for registries and registers.
