Session 1: Definition of GAECs / criteria and geographic extension/ differences and possible interaction with the Good Farming practices (2nd pillar) or eco-conditionality.

Overview of the GAECs as defined by Member States

Session 2: General control strategy for cross compliance

  • Statutory Management Requirements imposed by Environmental Directives – activities of the Soil and Waste unit
  • Involvement of and information flow between different specialized control agencies
  • Combined sample with on the spot checks / with controls with Remote sensing
  • Discussion

Session 3: Access to IACS/LPIS database for the cross compliance controls

Session 4: Possible use of Remote sensing in the control of cross compliance and especially GAECs
