Clarification requests

While answering to the questions in Step 3: Questionnaire, the Principal Addressee and any Collaborators can ask for clarifications if anything is unclear. A member of the Commission's case team will respond to the clarification request and you will be notified by email.

Ask the Commission's case team for clarification

To send a clarification request, click on the ASK FOR CLARIFICATION button above the questions (see picture below - marked in red). The question is highlighted in a blue border and a panel opens on your right hand side. Choose the question you have issues with. Type your clarification request and click on SEND

Your message is posted mentioning your name and the posting time to facilitate your work with any collaborators. The number of clarification messages for that question increases.

A member of the Commission's case team will respond to your message as soon as possible and you will be notified by email. If you are working in eRFI, you will also receive a notification. You will be able to click on the same tab and open the panel with all the clarification requests.


When you finish, close the clarifications panel to have a full view of your questionnaire by clicking on CLOSE CLARIFICATIONS.
